“Scarlet Rift” is a bold and dramatic abstract that channels the raw energy of the earth's inner forces. Fiery reds and oranges slice through layers of stone-like textures, evoking the imagery of molten lava tearing through the crust. Denise is an artist from Arvada, Colorado. She draws her inspiration for painting from nature and likes to paint landscapes. Since she is surrounded by the beauty of the mountains of Colorado, there is a lot of inspiration to draw upon. She also recently has begun branching out to abstract painting with acrylic paints and experimenting with various filters in digital graphics applications.
