"Sandy Beach" was created during a cold Minnesota winter as a way for me to getaway without getting on a plane to a faraway place. I hope this abstract beach inspired piece takes you on a visual escape from everyday life and that is brings you peace and a sense of calm.
Lara Eckerman creates abstract mixed-media artwork that explores the relationship between color, texture, and depth. Working primarily with acrylics, ink, and hand-painted translucent waxed papers, her landscape and floral-inspired pieces are created intuitively and are influenced by interior design and the natural world. Through layered, translucent compositions, Lara crafts visual experiences that invite viewers to immerse themselves in rhythm and subtle intrigue.
