San Juan River Bridge Utah

Piece description from the artist

A photograph of the San Juan River Bridge in Mexican Hat, Utah, United States, officially named the Jason R. Workman Memorial Bridge. This historic steel arch bridge spans the San Juan River along U.S. Route 163, a scenic highway that runs through the dramatic desert landscapes of southeastern Utah and the Navajo Nation. Built in 1953, the bridge serves as a vital connection for travelers heading toward iconic destinations such as Monument Valley and Goosenecks State Park. It was renamed in honor of Jason R. Workman, a US Navy SEAL Team Six member who was killed in action in Afghanistan on August 6, 2011. The surrounding area is known for its striking red rock formations, sweeping desert views, and rich Southwestern history, making this bridge both a functional crossing and a meaningful landmark.
