San Francisco Scape

Piece description from the artist

One of my favorite shots, from my favorite place to photograph San Francisco – the good Lord was generous when providing the Marin Headlands; a collection of sheer, tall hills just on the north side of the Golden Gate Bridge. He must have known man would build an amazing world-class city, and put those hills there to make sure we had a breathtaking vantage point of it.

About Danny Anderson

Brentwood, CA

Danny Anderson has no formal training in photography, but he makes up for what he lacks in training with a unique perception of the world around him.

From the beginning, Danny's approach was simple; when he photographs a location, Danny attempts to capture not just what it looks like, but what it feels like to be there. In doing so, contrasts, composition, dynamics and drama have become an integral part of his process and consideration while making artwork. Danny is always searching for everyday beauty so he can allow the day-to-day imagery to distract and inspire him. Danny refers to this process as "natural distraction."

Danny currently lives and works in Brentwood, California.
