The canvas depicts a flowering branch of sakura. In the background is a blue sky. Bright juicy colors were used to create this painting. The main goal of the author was to create a rich and positive atmosphere. Like all other paintings in the Shchip collection, this work is done in oil and varnished. Canvas on a cardboard panel.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
