"Running Feathers"

As an artist, Leah Dempsey is constantly learning and experimenting. In 2011, she received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting and graphic design from Indiana University in Pennsylvania. In her work, Leah cares most about creating something beautiful, and she strives to offer an impression of beauty to each of her viewers. Leah is also a firm believer in allowing the work to speak for itself, and providing little or no verbal explanation for each piece.

More than anything, Leah loves art; looking at it, talking about it, and creating it. She also has a fondness for narwhals, especially mechanical ones.

Leah currently lives and works in Jessup, Maryland.
