Walking dreamily, crossing the Shijoo bridge over the Kamo river into the historic neighborhood of Gion in Kyoto, Japan. People enjoy watching the river flow and strolling the river walkway as time seems to stand still.
One of a series of paintings created based on a springtime trip to Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan. By piecing color fields together, I strive to create a vibrant and dramatic scene.
Jude's work focuses on piecing shapes and color together with patterns and bold forms to create representational pieces with. Nature and the relationship of figures in landscapes play a big role in the subject of his work.
