Troy Gittins was born and raised in San Diego. Gittins' grandfather taught him with a "Rolleiflex Camera" when he was eight years old and helped his grandfather in the dark room.

Gittins continued this passion for photography in high school and in college. After that, Troy gained experience with modeling, photography, clothing lines, bands, and urban photography. Troy has a unique approach and his editing has become known in the industry as cutting-edge.
