I shot this in Rajasthan, India. After a two-hour camel ride, I was treated to a lovely sunset in the middle of the desert. I loved the way the light rays framed the tree, and decided to take advantage of the orange color as a background against the silhouette of the tree. Two birds can be seen resting near the sun on the tree. The photo is a reminder to relax and take in all of the little moments.
Trey is a landscape, astro, and portrait photographer based in Warren, Vermont. He focuses his photography on scenic landscapes, waterfalls, night skies, and skiers/riders. He is inspired by the way light hits the scene as well as utilizing long exposure.
