The painting shows Requesens Castle, a medieval fortress in the Albera range of the Catalan Pyrenees. Built in the 11th century and later expanded in the 19th century, the castle rises above green hills and dense forests, with its stone walls and towers dominating the landscape. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
