Piece description from the artist
Gentle waves come onto the shoreline beside the Panama City Beach fishing pier, where the retreating water leaves behind rippled reflections of the pier’s sturdy pilings. As the tide pulls back into the Gulf of Mexico, also known as the Gulf of America, more waves roll in.
Along the railing of the iconic Russell-Fields Pier, anglers can be seen casting their lines into the emerald-hued waters below. One of only two fishing piers in Panama City Beach, this popular landmark stretches into the Gulf along Florida’s famous Emerald Coast in the Panhandle. The calm surf, reflective shoreline, and everyday moments of coastal life come together to capture the relaxed beauty that makes Panama City Beach such a beloved seaside destination.
