Ravens Nest

Piece description from the artist

This photo is the reason I went to Maine this year on vacation. I had seen photos of this location and had been researching to see if the Milky Way would come right through the middle of the cliffs like I was hoping for. After some research I found out low and behold it would! I constantly watched the weather 15 days before I would go up to Maine, making sure I would have some clear nights. The first clear night we went right to the location and the moon was still out. Now normally that is not a good thing for an astro photographer, but in this case it illuminated my ocean and one side of the cliff perfectly. It ended up being a really nice composition in my eyes! The night sky in Maine is out of this world, its enchanting!
