Rangitoto Summit

Piece description from the artist

This was my favorite view of Motutapu Island from the Rangitoto summit. I honestly still can't believe I hiked to the top of a dormant volcano. About an hour or so after this was taken, a thick orange smog from the Australian wildfires reached New Zealand and covered the island I was on. While the weird apocalyptic glow it gave my photos was neat, I'm so thankful I was able to get this shot before it hit.
