About Rob Staub

Fairfield, CT

Rob Staub has been shooting since he was a young boy in New York City. Carrying a "Nikon FE":http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikon_FE everywhere from the streets of Manhattan to alleyways of Europe, Rob learned the art of image-making as he went. When his family split, the hills in Northern Virginia's Horse Country also became a part of his visual influence.

The grit of the city and the lush colors of the countryside were strong influences for Rob, and they carried into his career as a professional photographer. Today, he photographs everything from rock concerts to landscapes, residential architecture and portraiture. With a close circle of creative friends in music, fine art and design, Rob is constantly striving to live up to the art that surrounds him.
