Rainer

Rainer

Piece description from the artist

This was taken while on a family trip to Seattle, Washington visiting my sister. We took a last minute trip to Mt Rainer national park. We found the closest trail we could find. The views were pretty good but I didn't get any photos I was proud of. I don't remember taking this photo but when I went back to re-edit the pictures I saw this and thought it was super dope. It was such a nice surprise. shows that sometimes you can just be lucky.

About Charlie Byers

Conyers, GA

Charlie Byers has been a professional photographer for five years. He lives on a small farm in  Conyers, Georgia and loves shooting small town street corners and large landscapes. While studying Art at the University of North Georgia, he attended the Light Grey Art Lab in Iceland with other international artists. Growing up in a small town, he learned to love the little things and the small treasures of small town life. He gained a deeper appreciation of the vastness and diversity of the American landscape when he drove with a friend across the country his senior year in high school. Throughout his life, he has also traveled internationally, giving him the opportunity to photograph some amazing parts of the world. One of his proudest moments was when National Geographics posted one of his photographs of a tiger on their Twitter and Facebook pages to commemorate National Tiger Day. His strongest influences are Andy Goldsworthy, Joe Greer, and Jared Hogan. His ultimate goal is to make timeless photographs that connect with people on a personal and spiritual level.
