Piece description from the artist
This photo is taken in Summer 2019 in the garden of Hasedera temple (established in the 8th century), Kamakura City, Japan.
These water tubs are not rare in the gardens of various Buddhist temples throughout Japan. The rhombus is actually an identical square part of four different characters surrounding it. The characters say "I only know that enough is enough" pointing to one of the central Buddhist concepts of controlling one's desires and the ability to be content with little.
Print size: 21×14 inches.
The original artwork has no white borders. Available in various sizes.
Limited edition artworks (25) come with a certificate of authenticity hand-signed by the author.
Photos are printed on Fujicolor Crystal Archive Professional Paper "MAXIMA" (Matte) in a Fujifilm prolab in Tokyo. This photo paper is specially designed for fine art and museum display. It has outstanding longevity and shows mesmerizing deep blacks, saturated colors and fascinating shadow details.
Photographic printing process: silver halide printing.
Mounting: mounted on a black frame mat panel with a string (the panel is made of wood; photos cannot be removed from the panel). Black mat and frame are best suited for Anatoliy Anshin's artworks, however, other options are also available for particular needs. Shipping of an unframed fine art print in a heavy-duty tube is also possible (the price will be lower in this case).
