A view of Lake Placid from Mt. McKenzie in the Adirondack's of New York. This is the left portion of a very long horizontal piece which corresponds with Placid Overlook I and III.
Kevin Smith’s work reflects his love of nature, the Adirondack region of New York State, and New England. Although Kevin once lived in the Adirondacks, he ultimately made his home along the coast of Maine. He now finds his inspiration not only in the remotest areas of the Adirondack Park, but also in the beauty found along the east coast. A self-taught artist, he uses a pouring and blending technique.
Since 1998, Kevin’s work has been featured in many prestigious shows throughout the region New England. His landscapes are vibrant, imaginative, and graphic.
