Piece description from the artist

Persimmon is my favorite fruit of the fall season. I'm pretty fond of fresh apples too, but this orange delight is my go-to fruit. The trees have beautiful heart shaped leaves that turn orange and coral. The branches have hints of the golden orange in their branches. The persimmons hanging on the tree in clusters reminds me of a John Singer Sarget watercolor. This painting is 5 × 7, but comes matted and framed to about 8 × 10.
