Peacock feather print

Peacock Feather Print

Piece description from the artist

This peacock feather print is made from naturally molted feathers. I use a monoprint method to make this one of a kind piece of art and the detail that comes from pressing the actual feathers is incredible and leaves a beautiful embossed impression on the paper.

About Erik Linton

Hyrum Cache, UT

Erik was born and raised along the Wasatch Front in Utah. His work draws primarily from the nature he encounters in the mountains near his home. “I want my artwork to remind people of our dependence on the environment and the way that we interact with it. As an artist, I want to help people see the interconnected relationship that we all share with the natural world by presenting simple shapes, patterns, and textures in a way that you can bring a piece of the outdoors into your home.” His series of tree ring and botanical prints have taken him to some of the most beautiful landscapes in the United States, from the Pacific Northwest to the East Coast. His tree ring prints are like Mother Nature’s fingerprints, each one telling the story of its own microcosm while also telling the larger story of climate and change. Erik Linton currently lives in Hyrum Utah.
