Winter in Colorado! This photograph reminds of a piece of art done with pastels, and is very subtle. I wanted to capture this soft and subtleness, and the colors are not overwhelming but feel ephemeral.
Barbara has been exposed to art and creativity, her entire life! Her mother was an oil painter and her grandfather, not only an MD, but a talented artist as well. At the age of 16, Barbara found her creative passion looking through the lens of a Canon camera. She has been a photographer from that point on, finding subject matter from the gritty streets of Manhattan, to the alpine environment of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She feels most at home now, among big horned sheep, moose and mountains of Colorado!
