Panama Gulf Coast Reflections

Piece description from the artist

Gentle waves ease onto the shoreline beside the Panama City Beach fishing pier, where the receding tide and wet sand leaves behind soft, rippled reflections of the pier’s sturdy pilings etched into the wet sand. As the water draws back into the Gulf of Mexico, also known as the Gulf of America, another set of calm waves follows, keeping a steady coastal rhythm.

In the distance along the railing of Russell-Fields Pier, anglers pause and cast their lines into the emerald-colored water below, adding a quiet sense of everyday life to the scene. As one of two fishing piers in Panama City Beach, this iconic landmark stretches far into the Gulf along Florida’s famed Emerald Coast. The calm surf, mirrored shoreline, and unhurried moments by the pier come together to capture the relaxed, timeless beauty that defines this beloved stretch of the Florida Panhandle.
