I love how I captured this plunging wave as it created a small barrel before spilling on the shoreline as another wave comes in behind it. A large rock jetty runs along the Perdido Pass on the left. This is in Orange Beach, Alabama long the Gulf of Mexico. The morning sun had just come up behind me. There were still subtle hints of pink and purple in the beauitufl clouds.
