Orange Beach Jetty Wave Action

I captured this low-angle coastal scene shortly after sunrise at Perdido Pass in Orange Beach, Alabama, where waves crash against the rugged rock jetty beneath a softly morning sky. Delicate shades of pink and purple drift through the clouds, adding a gentle warmth to the peaceful start of a new day along the Gulf Coast.

The rhythm of the surf and the cool morning air made it easy to pause and soak in the beauty of the shoreline. I especially enjoyed photographing the different wave splashes as they collided with the rocks, each one creating a unique pattern and making this image part of a series from an unforgettable morning by the water.

Perdido Pass connects the back bays to the open waters of the Gulf of Mexico and is a favorite destination for photographers, anglers, and beach lovers alike. With its ever-changing light, crashing waves, and scenic coastline, it's a place that offers something new every time I visit.
