This 30" x 24" acrylic painting is a satirical look at how ridiculous American pop culture can be. We see value in fast women, expensive cars and houses. Morals are for sissies. It seems we were all a little jealous of Charlie.
Ernie Turner is a fine artist, caricaturist, and illustrator focused on surreal and satirical subject matter.
He attended the Columbus College of Art and Design in Ohio, and currently lives in Orlando, Florida. Ernie considers himself a huge art-scene promoter, curating and promoting over twenty shows in the past two years and showing in just as many. He is a prolific and detail-oriented draftsman and painter who has dedicated his life to the furthering of style and genre within the traditional and digital arts.
About his work, he states that, "Visual art is communication, pure and simple; the kind in which spoken language falls short."
