Ocean 42418 wading bather

Ocean 42418—Wading Bather

Piece description from the artist

Scientific data is embedded in this work. The bather signifies the human relationship to the Ocean. I carry small Moleskine watercolor notebooks with me where I record the conditions of the day. Over the data, I make a watercolor sketch of the colors of the day. It is an obsessive activity, filling numerous notebooks. I refer to this data to create oil paintings.
