Piece description from the artist
Lower Manhattan as seen from Brooklyn just after sunset. NYC is home to more than 200 buildings measuring 500 feet or taller, roughly double that of its closest US competitor. Currently, the One World Trade Center is the tallest building in NYC, rising to an astounding 1,776 feet.
One day, Raymond started pointing and shooting and quickly got carried away with photography.
He got a sack of gear and hit the streets of his hometown, New York City. Rarely a fly on the wall, Raymond has a way that is central to his work; with a quick hello, he can turn chance encounters into spontaneous portraits. He also photographs events and weddings, wanders the streets to capture candid moments, and produces portrait sessions.
Since moving to the Southwest in 2015, Raymond has expanded his subject matter to include landscapes, storm chasing, and wildlife, with a particular interest in hummingbirds and raptors.
