Piece description from the artist
My last photograph of this series with the Northern Lights, Aurora Borealis, making it's way over Fellows Lake in Springfield, Missouri, United States. It was a rare event for this area and I was grateful to get to see it. It is a moment I hope to not ever forget! Just wow. The colors of pink, red, and purple reflect the water as it moves across the sky and out of the Ozarks. On October 10, 2024, the Northern Lights were in storm mode reaching a KP factor of 8.67 and was seen as far south as Florida. This is the 2nd time I have gotten to witness them and this was the first time it was pretty visable with our own eyes. The first time I could only see it in the camera.
