Nile Queen

Oriana Gerez is a self- taught freelance oil and acrylic painter specializing in urban contemporary art. Her beautiful characters manifest themselves in vivid colors, poetic visuals and implicit and explicit symbolism.

Oriana's art is meant to transplant the viewer into that same mind space of wonder and possibility in an otherwise strange and eerie universe.

Born in Venezuela she attended Northeastern University in Boston where she got a bachelor's degree in Physics. She currently paints from Miami, FL in a studio shared with a lovely husky assistant creating acrylic paintings in the genre of pop surrealism
