The bushes and trees are backlit by the evening sunlight and sun star. The pinnacles and spires run in a row in this scene, leading your eyes to some mountains in the distance. Beautiful clouds complete this majestic landscape photograph. Needles Highway is one of the most scenic drives in South Dakota, winding approximately 14 miles through a remarkable collection of granite pinnacles, narrow passages, and breathtaking overlooks.
