Piece description from the artist
Macrophotograpy always seemed fitting with the type of film that I use. But the size of the film doesn't necessarily correlate with the clarity of how the image will come out. Therefore, it's definitely a risk, but one I'm always willing to take. These tiny shrooms caught my eye in the enchanted forest of Henry Cowell State Park in the Santa Cruz Mountains. While the image may lack the highly desired "clarity" that we photographers strive for, the grainyness and haze has created a dream like charm.
