Misty Mornings in Central Virginia are certainly an expression of beauty in the Blue Ridge Mountains especially near the banks of the James River in central Virginia. Whether you're in the city or in the country, you are certain to be blessed by such beauty!
In his paintings, Luis Lozano attempts to create an air of realism by sculpting the light that fills the empty space around an object. He believes that light is essential to creating an illusion in painting, taking inspiration from artists like "Johannes Vermeer" and "John Singer Sargent".
Luis studied at the La Jolla Academy of Advertising and Design in La Jolla, California. His work in the advertising and design has given him experience with storyboards, thumb sketches, layout, design, and composition, while also providing insight about the relationship between artist and audience.
Luis currently lives in Monroe, Virginia.
