Piece description from the artist
On this beautiful summer morning, I wandered around the Ocracoke Light and sought new perspectives from which to capture this beacon. Often captured from the light or the walkway that takes visitors up to the lighthouse itself, I wanted to capture the lighthouse in its environment – where the characteristic trees and shrubs framed the iconic structure.
