Moodscape rain painting 7

Blush Horizon Moodscape Rain Painting

Piece description from the artist

Each painting is created with layers of paint, rain and collected recycled rainwater.
Portland, Oregon artist Jeni Lee is known for her atmospheric paintings of the lush Northwest landscape. She began taking the paintings outside and into the rain, creating patterns of color and light through layers of raindrops and paint, reminding us of misty coastal mornings, sparkling sunsets and endless starry skies. The process of using the rain and collected rainwater inspired a deeper mindfulness for natural resources in her creative practice, while advocating sustainability through art.
