A beautiful evening in Monument Valley in Arizona as the sun drops low enough to start casting shadows on the desert terrain. To the left is the iconic Merrick Butte rock formation. To the right is part of Mitchell Mesa. In the distance you can see Elephant Butte, Cly Butte, Spearhead Mesa, Camel Butte, and more. It makes you feel like you stepped into a western movie. There have been a few movies that have actually been file here. A few clouds start to roll in just in time for a dramatic sunset that I also have photos of. What a stunning southwestern landscape.
