Soft beams of light extend upwards during sunrise as the golden sunrise works its way up behind some clouds low on the horizon over Monument Valley in Navajo County, Arizona, USA. I captured this unique angle of the three iconic buttes from behind a fence and beside a large rock from The View Hotel. The East Mitten, West Mitten and Merrick Butte are majestic landmarks standing in front of a bold sky as the new day begins. This is part of the Navajo Tribal Park.
