This photo represents what Monteverde is about: Lush, green vegetation, moss covered trees, huge ferns and endless shades of green. I went to explore the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve twice to explore all the trails and find the scene that captured the essence of this place best. It was a difficult search, because the forest is so thick and it's hard to find order in the chaos. With this photo though, I think it worked out and with all those details it will look fantastic in a large print.
Michael Breitung is an experienced landscape photographer from Germany, who loves to travel. His travels have taken him all across the world and he had the chance to visit and photograph many wonderful places. He's been fortunate enough to visit countries in Europe, in North and South America, in Oceania, in Asia and in Africa. It's always something special for him to arrive in a new country and to start exploring.
