Piece description from the artist
When I lived in my old house in Jamaica Plain, a blue jay decided to make the tree outside my window his favorite spot for calling out to all the other blue jays. The day I moved out of that apartment, I made one last sweep of the house and found him dead in the backyard. This painting is an homage to him.
