Masked mistress

Masked Mistress

Piece description from the artist

As I was standing on the dock in Venice all of a sudden the mist rolled in, creating a magical, mysterious mood. I was overcome by an urge to look up into the sky, as if I were to see something unexplainable suddenly appear. The mask is in celebration of the Carnival of Venice, an event playing well with the mist, mystique and life's moments of surprise.
