A large and bold orange sandstone rock formation dominates this desert landscape in Arches National Park in Moab, Utah, United States. In the distance you can see the famous balanced rock formation. I captured this along The Windows Road in the Windows Section of the park. The cloudy sky above shows peaks of bright blue sky in the breaks near the horizon. Green vegetation dots the rugged sandy terrain. This big rock formation is also home to Pothole Arch which is on the other side and not visible in this photograph. A beautiful western landscape vista.
