Metal prints are a new art medium, in which dyes are infused directly into specially coated aluminum sheets. Because the image is infused into the surface rather than on it, the metal print takes on an almost magical luminescence and colors, and has amazing detail and resolution. Metal prints are scratch-resistant, waterproof, and can be cleaned with any commercial glass cleaner. Metal prints do not need framing and can be also placed outdoors.
Doctor Miron Abramovici enjoyed a distinguished scientific career as a researcher, textbook author, inventor, and university professor before he discovered his inner artist just a couple of years ago.
Since then, photography has become his passion, obsession, and a main reason of being. He loves to discover the world through the eye of the camera, to see its hidden beauty or unusual features of ordinary, everyday things. Miron's artwork is permeated by his fascination with abstract patterns, reflections, and surrealistic images.
