A series of raw canvas works that start with a simple loving affirmation written on the blank cotton canvas. A process of letting go and surrendering to where the paint flows. A meditative practice that allows me to express myself… a soul expression on canvas.
On this affirmation piece I wrote the words “Love yourself” onto the cotton canvas. As the paint began to blend and dry, it created what appears to be a bird figure that surrounds the written affirmation words surrounded by the pink, blue, and green pigments.
I hope this body of work reminds you of how magical life is.
