Love is intense any way you look at it of feel about it…
Jon Nelson is a contemporary artist who creates color field expressionist works with acrylic and spray – paint. Jon says that his art “…feels like a very pure essential communication without the boundaries and limitations of mind.” Jon Nelson is inspired from the experience of his daily life city culture, music and teaching others to paint.
He has been creating artwork for nearly 12 years now and continues to learn something new from observing and appreciating all different styles of art. He creates from his emotional status of life and through the moods of music, traveling, downtown city areas, street art, and energy. Art has opened doors of opportunity that he never even thought possible. What began as a hobby for fun, soon turned into something very passionate in his life. He knows that each piece of art has its own meaning and has seen his art help and inspire people. He has donated his art to charities and some foundations Red Cross and HOW.ORG Helping Others World Wide.
Jon Nelson and JN ARTWORX live and reside in Ventura, California. A setting that has allowed him to find an artistic home that has grown into producing and selling art on canvas, clothing, and unique hand painting baseball hats. Jon began teaching his style of art to middle school students this past year 2011 and is continuing in 2012 in school and an art center. Teaching art gave him a new perspective to help and inspire kids. Jon works with an art group in his community and they are working on pop up shops, places and locations to use for weekend or nightly art shows to help promote the arts and local businesses. Jon loves art!!
Jon enjoys traveling and seeing everything as art, inspiring others, and learning to use graffiti.
