Photographed during the poppy superbloom at Walker Canyon in Lake Elsinore, California, USA. Is there a more perfect expression of nature? I love how flowers give their beauty so freely. Flowers seem, at times, to be an almost perfect expression of peace, joy and love. What an honor to be able to capture this scene through the medium of the camera.

Joseph wants to approach his photography from a place of simplicity and avoid making this enjoyable and creative process overburdened from a technical standpoint. He still continues working to improve his craft all the while though. His photographs are presented in a straightforward way and engage the creative process to produce photographs of familiar subjects in an impressionistic and abstract manner. His simple hope is that his photographic work promotes an interest in art and that it expresses joy and beauty.
