Piece description from the artist
I captured this photograph while standing in the middle of the historic Navajo Bridge, looking out over the Colorado River as it cuts through the towering red rock walls of Marble Canyon near Page, Arizona. Far below, the iconic river flows nearly 467 feet beneath the bridge, surrounded by the rugged sandstone cliffs of the American Southwest.
A partly cloudy blue sky adds beautiful contrast above the warm red and orange canyon walls, creating a classic desert landscape. This scenic view is part of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area and offers an incredible perspective of both the Colorado River and the dramatic canyon scenery surrounding Navajo Bridge.
