This piece comes from Soo Rye's 'Dream Bird' series. After moving to America in 2002, Soo Rye began painting these birds to represent her dreams and feelings of hope for the future.
Soo Rye Yoo was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea. There she exhibited throughout the region in four solo exhibitions and over two hundred group exhibitions.
She moved to Rye, New Hampshire ten years ago and opened the Soo Rye Art Gallery. Through the gallery she hopes to explore and exhibit the best contemporary artists in the area and abroad.
