Piece description from the artist

Untitled 1 was inspired by surrealist movements such as automatism painting. A form of painting that allows your intuition to lead. There is no predetermined composition. The structural layout of the piece is dependent on preliminary gestures created first in charcoal and then followed by free forming paint applications. This energetic approach leaves the viewer with a vibrant and whimsical piece that will continue to surprise and intrigue you!
