Piece description from the artist
A breathtaking, expansive view of the Henry Mountains from Larb Hollow Overlook in Teasdale, Utah. Perched at roughly 9,000 feet, this scenic vantage point offers sweeping vistas of southeastern Utah, including the dramatic Waterpocket Fold in Capitol Reef National Park. A soft atmospheric haze gives the mountains a striking bluish tint, while patches of snow still cling to the peaks, hinting at winter’s lingering touch. Some yellow flowers in the foreground show signs of the spring season.
The overlook is near Fishlake National Forest and sits along Scenic Byway 12, one of Utah’s most celebrated drives, renowned for its sweeping panoramas, dramatic elevation changes, and unforgettable views of the high desert landscape.
