Piece description from the artist
A stunning roadside view looking towards the snowcapped peaks of the La Sal Mountains rising in the distance between some fallen rock boulders beyond layers of mesa formations and scattered hoodoos in Moab, Utah, United States. Captured along Utah State Route 128, the highway cuts through the rugged terrain.
A few soft clouds drift above the peaks while patches of green shrubs and golden grasses add contrast red tones of the mesa formations. Just beyond the vegetation on the right, the Colorado River flows, barely visible, yet an essential part of the scene, bringing life to this dramatic meeting of desert and alpine beauty.
