A colourful and expressive view of La Rambla — one of Barcelona’s most iconic streets. This tree-lined boulevard, filled with light and life, is captured here in vivid brushstrokes and vibrant tones. The painting shows people walking, talking, and enjoying the atmosphere of this historic promenade, surrounded by bright facades and dappled shade. A place where tourists and locals meet under the trees, La Rambla is both the heart of the city and a symbol of its rhythm. Oil, canvas. Signed. Varnished.
Painting has been my passion since childhood. Among many different techniques oil painting is my favorite.
Themes of my paintings are as variegated as our world: cities, people, life, animals, dramatic art, nature. I am greatly influenced by such famous artists like Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Isaac Levitan, Auguste Renoir. My work was strongly influenced by Picasso. The painting Girl on the Ball made a big impression on me in my childhood.
