Piece description from the artist
A group of Kayakers float through the cool orange red rock tall canyon walls of Antelope Canyon on Lake Powell in Page, Arizona, United States during the spring season. The water, still somewhat calm in the early morning has a few reflections among the water ripples. This is the waterway portion of the iconic Antelope Canyon offering beautiful views of narrow passageways. Lake Powell was created by the flooding of Glen Canyon by the Glen Canyon Dam, which also led to the 1972 creation of Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, a popular summer destination of public land managed by the National Park Service. The surface area at full pool is 161,000 acres.
